College Work - This range of work was produced during my time on Level 3 Graphic Design.

This piece was made for the Barnsdale Gardens brief. I was tasked to design branding for Barnsdale Gardens, this includes logo, business card, etc...

Design Process:

The first effect I used in this design was the layer merge effect. I used the magic wand tool to highlight the B, I then ratersized it and then deleted the inside of the B and then highlighted the flower image and then clicked copy layer. This then made the B in the flower image instead of the black it was before. So I then had a flowered effect B, I then needed text. I decided again to go for a Serif typeface and use bold for this logo. I added a slight drop shadow to the text so it stood out, and added bevel & emboss to the B so it was more 3D styled and I tried to make it an attention grabbing part of the logo. I then added a white background to the design stand out with the black, white and mixed colours in the design.
